The Wheelhouse is home to Hearsay and one of our main collaborators allowing us to use their incredible event space for our monthly forums.

The Wheelhouse is a workplace for a carefully selected group of creative independents, located in a monumental 5-storey building on the Achtergracht in Amsterdam. What once was the home of the Dutch Photo Agency (Algemeen Nederlandsch Fotobureau), now offers space to about 35 professionals who are active in the field of content, concept, PR and strategy. The building offers a program consisting of social events, private dining, workshops, screenings and exhibitions

The historic building has a fresh, bright Art Deco design, the work of art director Barbara Kusmirak. The old photo lab now serves as a meeting room for approximately 10 people, and is fully equipped with a 4k screen and large seating area. The former dark rooms house two luxurious editing suites, and the old exhibition space of 100m2 is used as a private cinema, studio or presentation room, equipped with a high-end projector and professional sound. There is a private lunch bar where the barista serves coffee from the local roaster Lot Sixty One and the chef organizes an organic and predominantly vegetarian daily menu.
